Nicole Ari Parker, an American actor, who has appeared in film and on television, in addition to in stage productions, is known for portraying Teri Joseph, a fiery attorney featured in the show on Showtime called Soul Food. After her marriage she became Nikki Kodjoe. Her acting talent was evident from childhood. A Maryland high school contest gave her the top actress prize. Following her time in theatre and with "The Washington Ballet Company", she received an acting certificate from New York University. The Incredibly True Adventure of Two Girls in Love, her first role in a major film, won her great admiration. There followed films like "Boogie Nights Spark and Blue Streak. Her performance in the TV series Soul Food' was immensely well-received. Her TV appearances included Second Time Around and Empire. At the beginning of her career, she was in various stage productions. Parker is married to Boris Kodjoe, an actor and model. The couple has two daughters.
Contractor was born in Mumbai and lived in Nigeria for seven years was awash with trips and experiences in the world of culture at the age of. She attended boarding schools from the age of 7 until 9 in London. After that the family returned home to Toronto (Canada) in Canada, where she were raised for her entire life. Contractor was a student and an expert in classical dancing in Toronto. She attended the Etobicoke School of the Arts which was a highly specialized high school in which she studied not only dance, but also theatre. When she was 16 after a decade of years of dance Contractor discovered she was looking to take up acting as a profession. After she completed high school with an all-inclusive tuition grant to the University of Toronto where she pursued theatre studies with a double degrees in Sociology and Psychology. Contractor got her first part after a year of university. After 92 performances, she received positive reviews. The production was recognized as one of the most successful productions in Canada by critics. She accepted the invitation to enroll in Stratford's conservatory, a program which allows just four men and eight women can take a 20 weeks crash program in classical theatre. Contractor got a place for the upcoming season of productions and was offered the part as Hermia as Hermia in A Midsummer Night's Dream.
